These shoes are compatible with most mountain biking cleats available (SPD, Look, Time, Exustar, etc). Depending on the model, you may need to add a spacer to make clipping in / out easier.

What is it for?

These shoes are designed for serious use and have a rigid sole to transfer as much of the rider's power as possible into the pedals. They aren't designed for walking long distances.
